State Leadership

Our state representatives are becoming strong advocates for fixing our sewer infrastructure. Notable accomplishments include:

2021 | Senator Brendan Crighton and former Representative Lori Ehrlich securing $5M in ARPA funding earmarked for King's Beach

2023 | Representative Jenny Armini is collaborating with Save King's Beach and DCR to create new signs at Stacey's Brook warning of the dangerous bacteria levels.

2023 | Senator Brendan Crighton currently sits as the Co-Chair of the Metropolitan Beaches Commission

2025 | Armini and Crighton advocate for UV pilot project at King's Beach. This project allowed the community to learn a lot about Stacey's Brooks, but did have some engineering issues. 

Representative Armini frequently engages in conversations with Save King's Beach and Senator Crighton has a strong relationship with Friends of Lynn and Nahant Beach.
